Media Trip to Noku Maldives
Noku Maldives, a sanctuary of indulgence
The story focused on Singapore hotel brands’ expansion overseas and Noku Hotels has been included. It was mentioned that homegrown property and hospitality group Roxy-Pacific Holdings Limited is going places with its Noku brand with the opening of its first hotel in Kyoto in 2015, followed by Osaka in 2017 and Maldives in 2018. Up next is Noku Phuket which will open in phases in 2019 and 2020.
The hotel is a feat of understated elegance and a stone’s throw from magnificent landmarks and fantastic food. A boutique hotel a stone’s throw from the Imperial Palace in Kyoto, Japan, and 90 minutes by road from Osaka’s Kansai International Airport.
At the busiest times of the year – cherry blossom season and during the Gion festival – it is virtually impossible to get a hotel room in Japan’s ancient capital of Kyoto. The opening of the Noku Kyoto helps alleviate that shortage, and it does so in style.
Roxy Pacific Managing Director Mr. Chris Teo confirmed that the resort will undergo extensive renovation of guest villas, public spaces and food & beverage (F&B) outlets before opening in the first quarter of 2017. Upon completion it will be the second property to be marketed under Roxy’s premium Noku brand. The first opened in Kyoto, Japan in November 2015.
Japan is one of the most pulsating countries in Asia, known for its high tech gadgets and its award-winning cuisine. For a taste of this, more people head to Tokyo or Osaka to experience the mad, non-stop rush.
